Synopsis

International immigrations intensifies every year, motivated by civil wars, religious, political tensions, economic reasons or still, simply, by the fact that we live on a globalized world, that permeate borders, facilitates access to informations, stimulates consumption, creates dreams and, finally, creates expectations of a better life.
“Roots” show us something really ordinary at the baggage of lots o immigrants it’s the confession of their own religion wich, in a dialogical form, tolerant, indifferent or conflicting, end up interacting with socials universes e religious on the arrived land. Worldwide known by its cultural mix and by religious syncretism, for years, Brazil has played an important role in this crossroads of social dynamics.
